It's a busy time for Dixie Films!

Can't believe it's been 6 months since we've written a blog here. Time flies when you're having fun!

And it's been flying for Dixie Films. Since being in sunny Southern California, non stop film projects:

Director Jack Truman was on the Short Film Jury at the 2012 Slamdance Film Festival in January.

Dixie Films is currently making a feature film documentary about Childhood Obesity, creating a new comedy web series set in Las Vegas, shooting commercials, and working with an Oscar winning actress to star in a new film. Busy times!

The Walkers: A Screenplay

Dixie Films is pleased to announce the release of THE WALKERS, by Jack Truman, a feature film screenplay thriller about a serial killer who works in a furniture store.

Steve Landers is the world's worst salesman. Most of his customers are 'walkers'; people who leave the store without buying any merchandise. Constantly harassed by his boss, Jennifer, a 'bitch on wheels', and bullied by his fellow employees, Steve is unable to make any sales. Suddenly, the customers who have walked on Steve begin to become murdered. At the same time, Steve begins to become the top salesman in the store. The focus is on Steve as the killer: but nothing is as it seems.
